At the May 12 concert in Vancouver, P!NK came down to the floor and passed the microphone to Victoria, making her dream come true.
“Are you the singer? Do you want to come sing something?” P!NK asked Anthony at the show. “Don’t pass out now…you can sing anything you want.”
Victoria chose to sing P!NK’s song, “Perfect.”
“Since singing with P!NK, live in concert on May 12, Victoria has taken her passion to the next level,” said the singer’s mother, Christina Anthony, who grew up in Richmond, via an emailed statement. “She has been releasing various covers on YouTube and recently sang the anthems at a Canadians game.”
Victoria will perform at a free concert on Monday, Aug. 13 at 6:30 p.m. at Thompson Community Centre.
