Richmond RCMP is investigating a confirmed shots fired call in the northeastern part of the city.

Police were called to the 19700 block of River Road around 11:58 p.m. Thursday, June 25.

No one was injured in the incident, a spokesperson for the RCMP told the Richmond News. Multiple shell casings were located at the scene.

RCMP are now working to identify the person, or persons, involved. Richmond Watch General Investigation Section is leading the investigation.
