Richmond records 28 new COVID-19 cases in past week

On the same day the province announced a record number of COVID-19 cases – 165 new ones in the last 24 hours – Richmond numbers have dipped slightly compared to last week’s tally.

There have been 219 COVID-19 cases in Richmond since the beginning of the pandemic.

On the same day the province announced a record number of COVID-19 cases – 165 new ones in the last 24 hours – Richmond numbers have dipped slightly compared to last week’s tally.

There were 28 new cases in Richmond over the past week, bringing the total number to 219 since the beginning of the pandemic – last Thursday, the previous week’s new cases came to 34.

Across the province, there are 57 people in hospital of whom 22 are in intensive care.

Testing for COVID-19 continues at the Richmond Assessment Centre at 6820 Gilbert Rd. in the parking lot of the Richmond Tennis Club.
