As of Saturday night, a section of No. 5 road will be temporarily closed to traffic due to road work.
No. 5 Road between Vulcan Way and River Road will be closed for 24 hours, from 8 p.m. Saturday, July 11 to 8 p.m. Sunday, July 12.
The road closure is due to railway maintenance work and asphalt crossing replacement by CN Rail and the City of Richmond.
Signs will be posted to direct drivers and pedestrians to alternate routes.
