Letters: Litterbugs infesting Richmond's parks

Dear Editor, It was disappointing to see (again) that selfish and arrogant individuals feel entitled to have a fire in a city park and leave their trash strewn on the riverbank for others to pick up. Shame on them.

Dear Editor,

It was disappointing to see (again) that selfish and arrogant individuals feel entitled to have a fire in a city park and leave their trash strewn on the riverbank for others to pick up.

Shame on them.

Littering is bad enough (especially the pandemic-related PPE litter), but this morning’s find was unacceptable.

To all Richmond citizens, please consider what you and your loved ones do with your trash and practise good outdoor etiquette: leave the environment the same as, or better than, you found it.

Littering tarnishes our city and harms both local and global ecosystems. So, let’s work together to make things a bit better for everyone.
