Re: “Pythagorus should have played paganism card,” Letters, Dec. 5.
I find this letter to be deceiving.
Pythagoras Academy was not denied a building permit for their new campus because they are not a religious school; they were denied because they’re not a non-profit.
And profit they do!
Worse, most of the school’s large revenue seems aimed at more marketing to more overseas families, not on the education of their current students.
Pythagoras should have no problem finding an alternate piece of land as long as they claim they’re a commercial business, which they are.
