Letters: This is why I love Steveston

Dear Editor, On Monday night, a lady from our complex wandered away. She has severe dementia. Within hours, the entire community of Steveston mobilized in a search. The RCMP were incredible, putting multiple officers and cars in motion for 18 hours.

Dear Editor,

On Monday night, a lady from our complex wandered away. She has severe dementia.

Within hours, the entire community of Steveston mobilized in a search. The RCMP were incredible, putting multiple officers and cars in motion for 18 hours. Search and rescue was mobilized.

Countless neighbours scoured Steveston on foot, on bikes, in cars until dark and again out in the morning. She was ultimately found safe and healthy. What a great community we live in.
