Jackson Thackwray and the unbeaten MacNeill Ravens (4-0) have a pair of big Richmond Senior League home games on tap next week as Steveston-London visit on Monday and the McMath Wildcats on Wednesday. Both contests tip-off at 7 p.m.

The Richmond Senior Boys Baseball League amps up in a big way next week with some heavyweight match-ups that will go a long way towards determining seeding for next month’s city championships.

It begins on Monday night with the No. 7 3A ranked MacNeill Ravens (4-0) hosting the Steveston-London Sharks (1-0) who will be fresh off winning their own Bob Carkner Memorial Classic. Meanwhile, the McMath Wildcats (1-0) will entertain the McNair Marlins (2-2) and the Cambie Crusaders (2-1) travel to Richmond High to take on the Colts (2-0).

There are more great battles on Wednesday including the Wildcats travelling to MacNeill. The Colts will also be taking on the Hugh Boyd Trojans (0-1) who are ranked No. 6 in the latest provincial 2A rankings. Their only game was a loss to the Ravens back in early December.

An all 2A tier match-up will see the Marlins travel to Cambie to take on the Crusaders.

Games on both days tip-off at 7 p.m.

The Trojans are hosting the Richmond Championships.
