Wu's Taekwondo School dominates at Nationals

Richmond club returns from Quebec with 14 medals while seven qualify for Worlds

Wu's Taekwondo School (Canada) turned in some outstanding performances at the recent 2020 National Taekwondo Championships in Quebec.

The Richmond club captured eight gold, two silver and four bronze medals for Team BC. 

Seven members have also qualified to represent Canada at the World Poomsae Championships in Denmark in May.

Individual results include:

Cadet male recognized Poomsae: Terence Ng – Gold.

Cadet team: Ivan Leung – Gold.

O17 freestyle team: Holly Cheuk – Gold.

Cadet Pair: Terence Ng– Gold.

Junior male team: Lawrence Ng, Gordon Cheuk, Daniel Zhen – Gold.

Junior female team: Megan Yung – Gold.

Junior pair: Lawrence Ng – Silver. Megan Yung – Silver

Cadet male recognized Poomsae: Ivan Leung – Bronze.

U17 freestyle male individual: Lawrence Ng – Bronze.

Junior Female recognized Poomsae: Megan Yung – Bronze.

U30 individual female: Holly Cheuk – Bronze.
