Nanaimo RCMP are looking for 45-year-old Kevin Golze, who was reported missing Tuesday and is believed to be in Nanaimo.
Based on information provided by the Bowen Island RCMP, there are concerns for his well-being, police said.
Golze is described as white, five-foot-11 and 240 pounds with brown hair, brown eyes and a goatee. He has tattoos on both forearms.
Police ask anyone with information to call Nanaimo RCMP at 250-754-2345.
