Three authors with Tri-City connections will make an appearance next week at Word Vancouver, western Canada’s largest literary festival that’s in its 25th year.

Produced by the Vancouver Book and Magazine Fair Society, Word Vancouver — formerly known as Word on the Street — will feature poet Rob Taylor, a Gleneagle secondary graduate, Terry Fox secondary principal David Starr and Coquitlam’s Onjana Yawnghwe, a 2018 BC Book Prize finalist, at events that run from Sept. 24 to 28.

In June, Starr released his first historical novel for adults through Ronsale Press, titled Like Joyful Tears.
