Investigators from Coquitlam RCMP and BC Coroners respond to the death of a 36-year-old man who was killed in a motorcycle accident on the Fremont Connector in Port Coquitlam Friday, Aug. 7.

A 36-year-old man was killed in Port Coquitlam early this morning after his motorcycle was involved in a deadly collision 

Coquitlam RCMP were called to the Fremont Connector between Nicola Avenue and Seaborne Place at about just before 7 a.m.

The man was pronounced dead on the scene. 

Investigators shut down traffic throughout the morning, eventually wrapping up their investigation and reopening the roads at around 1 p.m.

Speed is not believed to be a factor, according Coquitlam RCMP Const. Deanna Law.

In addition to the RCMP, BC Coroners attended the crash to determine the cause and details around the 36-year-olds death.
