Canada’s game tonight against the Iroquois Nationals, will be a showdown of undefeated teams in the Blue division of the World Indoor Lacrosse Championships being played at the Langley Events Centre.

Both teams have dominated their opponents in the first round of the 20-team tournament; Canada’s outscored its rivals 51-16 in three games, while Iroquois has scored 48 times while allowing 21 goals in its three tilts.

Sunday, Coquitlam’s Ben McIntosh led Canada to its third straight win, 17-5, over Israel. He had two goals and seven assists.

Dickson’s teammate in the National and Western lacrosse leagues, goaltender Christian Del Bianco, stopped 20 of the 25 shots he faced in Canada’s net. It was the Port Coquitlam native’s first start in the world tournament.

Playoffs begin Tuesday, with the championship final scheduled for Saturday. Canada has won all four previous world championships that have been played every four years since 2003.
