Why is the default for intersections traffic lights?
The research is clear: Roundabouts reduce accidents by up to 70%. Not to mention there is better flow of traffic and reduced gas consumption.
In all new intersections, the default needs to be roundabouts. In fact, all intersections need to be looked at through the roundabout lens.
