Paciejewski lighting it up, Canada 3-0 at world lacrosse

LANGLEY — Ben McIntosh had two goals and seven assists, and Canada remained undefeated at the world indoor lacrosse championship with a 17-5 victory over Israel on Sunday.
Dane Dobbie had four goals and three helpers while Shayne Jackson and Dhane Smith both produced hat tricks for Canada.
Christian Del Banco stopped 20 of 25 shots for the win.
Jean-Luc Chetner led Israel (0-3-1) with two goals and two assists.
The Canadians put the game out of reach early and were up 9-0 before Israel struck for its first goal midway through the second quarter.
Canada improved to 3-0 and sits first in its group. The Canadians next play Iroquois Nationals (2-0) on Monday.
In other results Sunday, Cole Paciejewski of Prince George scored seven goals and had five assists to lead Scotland to a 20-7 win over Mexico. Paciejewski, 26, had two goals and an assist in Saturday's 18-6 loss to Germany.
Scotland (1-2) wraps up its round-robin play Monday at 7:30 p.m. against Czech Republic (3-0).
Leif Paulson of Prince George was playing a late game Sunday for Sweden (0-2) against Australia (1-1). Heading into the third period Swedne trailed 7-6. Paulson contributed two goals and two assists. On Saturday in a 20-10 loss to Austria, the 31-year-old Paulson finished a goal and had three assists.
