When BlueShore Financial was giving its Burnaby Heights branch a facelift, it knew one thing that would definitely resonate with its customers.

The iconic Helen’s girl-on-a-swing neon sign that lit up Hastings Street for decades has been replicated to say “Heights” and adorns the new kids zone area of the renovated branch.

The Burnaby branch has been a fixture in this community for over 30 years and is reopening after all of the renovations.

Notable features at the Burnaby “Financial Spa” – as it is called - include an Arts in View installation with displays from local artists, a large meeting room with comfortable space for multi-generational or business client meetings, furniture with built-in wifi-enabled tablets, and the new Kids Zone play area.

“The redesign of this Financial Spa is an exciting new chapter for us in the evolving Burnaby Heights neighbourhood. The branch is now a premium environment with the service and expertise to match,” said Reg Marrinier, Senior VP, Retail and Business Banking, BlueShore Financial. “We believe in investing in our local communities, and with this significant renovation we are able to provide even better service to our current and future clients in the area.”
