Live jazz, fine wine, micro-brews and spirits will be paired with appetizers at a social evening at Tsawwassen Mills this weekend.

The second annual Mingler at the Mills in support of Reach Child and Youth Development Society is set for 7 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28.

Last year $5,000 was raised, funds which benefited children with special needs.

Tsawwassen Mills is again stepping forward to host Mingler at the Mills and Boston Pizza joins the event as the presenting food sponsor.

Brewery sponsors include Four Winds Brewing, Parallel 49 Brewing, Steamworks Brewing and Steel & Oak Brewing. Wine sponsors are Bremner, Delf Wines, Indigenous World Winery and Select Wines. Spirits sampling will be provided by Goodridge & Williams Distilling.

Gabriel Mark Hasselbach will play live jazz to round out the evening and excellent quality door prizes and raffles add to the fun. Like last year, Saks 5th Avenue fall fashions will be modelled by Reach Foundation directors.

“I would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who participated in the Mingler at the Mills in 2018,” said Kristin Bibbs, Reach development manager. “It is our generous sponsors, amazing volunteers and guests in attendance who made the event the fun, vibrant and successful night that it was.”

Tickets are $50, available at www.eventbrite.ca/e/mingler-at-the-mills-2019, at the Reach head office at 5050-47th Ave., Ladner, and at guest services at Tsawwassen Mills.
