A Delta man is facing four charges following several shots fired complaints in South Delta Friday night.

Delta police received a number of complaints about an individual who had fired shots from a residence on Westham Island around 10 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 20.

DPD spokesperson Cris Leykauf said officers located the residence, and an occupant of the house was arrested without incident shortly after police arrived on scene.

She said on Saturday, officers returned to the residence and executed a search warrant, seizing a number of firearms.

Police are not releasing the man’s name, although he is facing two charges of careless use or storage of a firearm, one charge of possessing a firearm with licence and or registration and one charge of mischief of $5,000 or under.

Police are still investigating.
