You can check out the talents of the next generation of artists in a show at Plaskett Gallery this month.

The gallery has teamed up with the New Westminster Secondary School fine arts program to present Think Different, featuring work in a variety of mediums from current NWSS students. It’s on until Feb. 28.

A press release about the show notes teachers Mary-Joanne Hunt and Keith Randall have coordinated the exhibition to showcase young and emerging talent in a broad range of the styles, skills and forms that students study in their art classes.

“It is also a celebration of young artists taking their first tentative steps into the paradox of disciplined experimentation from which great art springs,” says the release.

The Plaskett Gallery is at Massey Theatre, 735 Eighth Ave. It’s open Tuesday to Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m., by appointment, or during productions in the theatre.
