Richmond's four Rotary clubs raise almost $9,000 for Hurricane Dorian victims

Richmond’s four Rotary clubs joined forces at Garry Point Park on Saturday to raise money for the Bahama victims of Hurricane Dorian.

Richmond’s four Rotary clubs joined forces at Garry Point Park on Saturday to raise money for the Bahama victims of Hurricane Dorian.

Members of the Steveston, Richmond Rotary, Richmond Sunset Club and Richmond Sunrise clubs offered a barbecue hotdog lunch for a minimum $5 donation, while others turned up to walk the park and make a donation.

So far, they’ve raised around $9,000 and are hoping to hit the goal of $10,000 by the end of the week.
