Deadline approaching for Vancouver International Photography Festival submissions

Successful photos will be displayed in Richmond’s Aberdeen Centre this fall.

The Vancouver International Photography Festival’s deadline for submissions is fast approaching, and contest organizers are reminding photographers to enter for a chance to see their work displayed in Richmond and Vancouver.

The festival celebrates some of the best work by national and international photographers in nature, colour and monochrome categories. This year’s deadline for submissions is 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on Friday, Aug. 31.

After being judged, successful submissions will be displayed at VanDusen Botanical Garden on Sept. 22 before being moved to Richmond’s Aberdeen Centre.

The exhibit at Aberdeen Centre will run from Sept. 29 to Dec. 31.

Photographers can enter their work to the contest on VIPF’s website.  Tickets to the festival at VanDusen Botanical Garden cost $20.
