The seventh annual Polish Festival will return to the Pipe Shop and Shipbuilders Square in North Vancouver this year, promising a colourful day of culture and community.

The family-friendly event starts at 1 p.m. on Sunday, September 8, and offers puppet theatre, children’s activities, dance groups, live music, and more entertainment continuing through into the night. The fest wraps up at 9 p.m.

Vendors will be selling all sorts of Polish wares, from T-shirts and accessories to jewelry and arts and crafts.

And then, of course, there’s the food. The Polish Festival will have vendors selling plenty of delicious traditional Polish food such as sausages, perogies and pastries.
