Honda Celebration of Light Fireworks
Watch the summer night skies light up with stunning fireworks displays curated by experts from around the globe, set to music. Whether you’ve got tickets for a patio party or seated viewing area, a buddy with a boat, or a blanket and your piece of sea-side lawn for the night, there are plenty of ways to enjoy the spectacle. India opens on night one, followed by Canada on night two. The following week Croatia wraps things up on Aug. 3.

Vancouver Vegan Festival
A joint effort from The Vegan Project, Peace People Project, Peaces, and Earthsave Canada, the first-ever Vancouver Vegan Festival will be free and all-ages. The waterfront venue will be packed with more than 70 vendors showcasing plant-based food and lifestyle items and apparel, and the day will include live music, speakers, and free yoga.

Columbia StrEAT Food Festival
Billed as “the largest one-day food truck festival on the continent,” the Downtown New West BIA is urging attendees of the free community event to put on their stretchy pants and head down to New Westminster for an afternoon and evening of eating fun. There will be nearly 100 trucks there to dish up the eats.
