Stock up on hair spray and acid washed denim because West Vancouver is going to bring the noise for years to come.

Mayor Mary-Ann Booth announced the extension at the Feb. 25 council meeting and rattled off some monsters of dad-rock scheduled to play in this year’s concert. Among them: Streetheart, the Headpins, Honeymoon Suite, SAGA, Sass Jordan, Tom Cochrane with Red Rider, Quiet Riot, David Wilcox, the Romantics and Blue Oyster Cult. 54-40 and Barney Bentall are also in talks to join the bill.

“So we’ll see you all there,” Booth said with a laugh.

Rock Ambleside Park 2019 takes place from Aug. 16-18.
