The Peak of Christmas returns to Grouse Mountain with its annual display of festive enchantment and fun activities.
While it is a great deal of fun to go snowboarding or skiing on the mountain, it can be just as much fun to simply soak in their holiday offerings.
For example, visitors may enjoy skating on a beautiful, 8,000 square foot mountaintop ice skating pond. While Vancouverites may enjoy outdoor skating at the Robson Square Ice Rink throughout the holiday season, the mountain view offers a decidedly breathtaking experience.
Described as “Vancouver’s north pole,” the area sparkles with breathtaking light installations, including a majestic light tunnel and illuminated reindeer. Guests may watch a family holiday film on a big screen TV in the sky, or even take a magical sleigh ride.

Sliding Zone: Get your snow carpet rental* and…slide! It’s the Sliding Zone, providing designated lanes and groomed terrain perfect for sliding. Whoosh! Perfect for the child in all of us. Snow level and weather permitting.
Mountaintop Sleigh Rides: Embark on a magical ride through our Winter Wonderland. Snow level and weather permitting.
Gingerbread Village: Stroll through and vote for your favourite sweet creation in support of BC Children’s Hospital.
