A three-day festival featuring punk icons the Dead Kennedys is coming to Vancouver in early November.

The inaugural “Festerval” runs Nov. 9 to 11 at the Rickshaw and Vogue theatres and features a slew of punk, stoner and garage rock acts.

Outside of the Dead Kennedys, other confirmed bands include Fu Manchu, The Dwarves, Truckfighters, Deap Vally, Earthless, Diarrhea Planet, Dirty Fences and Vancouverites Black Wizard.

The Nov. 10 gig happens at the Rickshaw and includes the Dead Kennedys, The Dwarves, Diarrhea Planet and Dirty Fences. Doors are at 6 p.m. for the 19+ show. Tickets start at $36.

The Nov. 11 show at the Vogue is all-ages and includes the Dead Kennedys, Fu Manchu, Truckfighters, Deap Vally, Earthless and Black Wizard. Doors for Night 2 open at 6 p.m. Tickets cost $40.

The full, three-day roster hasn’t been revealed in its entirety although the gig poster alludes to a third concert at the Cobalt, presumably on Nov. 9.

Tickets are on sale now, both online at Ticketfly and in person at Red Cat and Neptoon Records.
