Surrey RCMP have confirmed they’re investigating the latest video posted online by Ryan Laforge of Creep Catcher in which he confronts a man wearing a vest that appears to bear the City of Richmond logo.

Laforge told the Richmond News that he posed online as a 14-year-old boy on the dating app Grindr, and alleges the man pictured in the video asked to meet with him.

Laforge gave the man an address in Surrey’s Guilford neighbourhood, where he filmed the video.

City of Richmond spokesperson Ted Townsend would not confirm where the man worked, but said the city is aware of the video and is investigating internally.

Laforge said that the man revealed he worked in Richmond while messaging on Grindr.
