The Universal Gospel Choir (UGC), a multi-faith community-based group of more than 70 singers, performs The Magic of Yule at the Orpheum Theatre on Sunday, Dec. 9 at 7 p.m.

The choir, led by artistic director Lonnie Delisle, will be supported by the UGC Band – with Michael Creber on piano, Jay Nickel on bass, Jay Esplana on drums and Jay Leonard Juatco on guitar – and, new this year, a full orchestra, with strings, woodwinds, and brass. Special guests are the violin and piano duo Roy & Rosemary.
