Yeast Van Block Party

Cheers to the first ever Yeast Van Block Party. Big Day BBQ will be on site with grub and Dr Alex will spin the vinyl. Breweries included: Bomber Brewing, Luppolo, East Van, Off The Rail, Callister, Container, Strathcona, Hastings Mill, Postmark, Coal Harbour, Storm, Parallel 49, Odd Society Spirits, Resurrection Spirits, Andina, Powell, Strange Fellows, Superflux.

Party for the Dude

The Dude Chilling is returning to Dude Chilling Park! Celebrate at this public party alongside the dude’s creator, and civic and park board officials. The Undercovers will be performing, BBQed hot dogs and bratwurst will be served along with refreshments. BYO blanket. Donations welcome to go towards the cost of bringing The Dude back.

Summer Movie Nights: Crazy Rich Asians 

Grab your lawnchairs and blankets for a family-friendly free outdoor screening of Crazy Rich Asians, the colourful globe-trotting romantic comedy that broke barriers. The flick starts at sundown, but there’s tons to do on site, like life-size Jenga and grabbing grub from food trucks. The summer isn’t over yet!

SeaWheeze Sunset Festival

It’s time to run hard and play hard. The daytime belongs to the SeaWheeze half-marathon, but come nighttime it’s time for the Sunset Festival. Grab some tickets and head to Stanley Park with your yoga mat for an evening of community and nature and good times, headlined by DJ Kaskade.

Railtown Tailgate BBQ goes down from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Aug. 18.

Railtown Tailgate BBQ

The Tailgate Barbecue Series has made a comeback at the original Railtown location one Sunday a month throughout the summer. Railtown chefs and co-owners Dan Olson and Tyler Day will once again roll out a custom-built, 12-foot barbecue barrel for the highly anticipated food event, where barbecue-lovers will be able to chow down on perfectly smoked meats and flavourful sides.
