On your marks, get set, shop… local. The country’s biggest national makers’ pop-up, Etsy: Made in Canada, returns for the fifth year, and the event has doubled in scale coast to coast.

Taking place on Sept. 29, Made in Canada will happen concurrently in 37 locations nationwide, including Vancouver. Marketplaces will also pop-up elsewhere in B.C. in Nanaimo, Kelowna, Victoria and Saanich.

Organized by a collaborative team of Etsy makers, each marketplace represents the spirit of its community and a celebration of the country’s growing maker movement, notes Etsy.

Vancouver’s event will take place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sept. 29 at Robson Square, and will of course feature a curated selection of participating Etsy vendors, with their vintage, artisan and collectible wares for sale.
