There will be thrills for the whole family next weekend under the “Big Top” in Tsawwassen.

The all-new Royal Canadian Family Circus Spectac! 2019 comes to Tsawwassen Mills May 24 to 26 for six shows (7 p.m. on May 24, noon, 4 and 7:30 p.m. on May 25, and 1 and 5 p.m. on May 26).

The six shows are part of a three-city B.C. tour for the circus which also visits Richmond and Surrey from May 9 to June 9.

Shows will feature performers from around the globe, including the Flying Cortes family from Colombia, the Xtreme Chinese Acrobats Troupe, the Russian juggling act of Igor and Katiana and many others.

The show is animal free.

“It’s an incredible showcase of elite circus artists from all around the world that has been designed for multi-generational families,”said ringmaster Joseph Bauer, who hails from Switzerland.

“It’s the essence of a traditional circus. This year families from across Canada will be fascinated by the amazing new global cast of performers coming to perform for families.”

Bauer is not only one of the finest ringmasters on the continent, he’s also a ninth generation daredevil performer who challenges the Wheel of Destiny.
