As lifestyle editor at the Vancouver Courier, I’m lucky that during the year some really great gifts land on my desk.
And while I try and write about some of these items, I can’t always get to all of them — my apologies.
But, I will attempt to make up for that now by not only writing about some of these items, but by also giving them away to someone who will either appreciate them or pass them on as a gift to someone else who will enjoy them.
This week’s prize pack includes:
Three passes to the Circle Craft craft show at the Vancouver Convention Centre. This is a really popular event every year, so someone will enjoy these passes.
One pair of printed, knee-high stockings from Strathcona Stockings ($36 value). These are gorgeous.
Two of the brand new M&M’s chocolate bars. This is the first time in North America that M&M’s candy has been produced as a chocolate bar. The prize pack includes the milk chocolate/chocolate candy and milk chocolate/peanut versions. (Confession: I also had the mint; rice crisp; and almond versions land on my desk, but we ate them here at the office and they were really good.)
A pass for two to the advanced screening of the new The Grinch movie, also brand new, which plays Wednesday, Nov. 9 at 7 p.m. at Cineplex Cinemas Marine Gateway and VIP theatre. Tip: these press screenings often fill up quickly, so get there early to make sure you have a seat.
Keep in mind this week’s prize pack is time sensitive.
