Skiers and snowboarders can dust off their gear as Grouse Mountain is set to officially open for the season on Saturday, Nov. 30 at 9 a.m.

Thanks to a recent cold snap that has provided excellent snowmaking conditions, the ski resort will open with limited terrain this weekend.

Paradise Bowl and the Paradise Terrain Park will both be open to riders with access via the Greenway Chair, according to a Grouse press release.

“Our snowmaking team has done a fantastic job taking advantage of the recent cold temperatures and with snowfall in the forecast for next week we’ll be working to open up additional terrain as soon as possible,” stated Grant Wahl, Grouse’s director of mountain operations, in the release.

Skiers and snowboarders will be able to access the mountain from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., with discounted lift ticket rates offered until more terrain is opened, starting Saturday.
