We Try Body Fx With The Skin Girls

skinThe Skin Girls' clinic is such a well-kept secret, we can't even tell you its address.

What we can tell you is that its discreet location, tucked into an unassuming Gastown building, is key for the high-end clientele who visit for medi-facials, fraxel lasering, Botox, skin tightening and more. In fact, proprietor Lisa-Marie Blair's business is 10 per cent house calls, meaning she regularly drops by the homes and trailers of actors to deliver treatments we can confidently relay produce exceptional results. Case in point: our Body Fx treatment, a 30-minute cellulite buster popularized by the Kardashians (naturally—or not). The process included the application of a little suction laser to the back of each thigh, and sort of felt like being pinged repeatedly by an electric rubber band. We won’t over-dramatize the pain level but, let’s just say you won’t miss it when it’s done. The results were crazy stunningwe immediately had no cellulite, even when we scrunched our skin up and flexed in the mirror (although Lisa-Marie suggests some patients will see best results after multiple treatments). Our Red Carpet Facial was incredible, too. Popular among stars before awards shows, it made our skin look airbrushed without any makeup (now our mom wants one).

If you need to look fantastic in a hurry, just call The Skin Girls. —Adrienne Matei
