Seven days of epic burgers await at this week-long Vancouver festival

Le Burger Week returns Sept. 1 to 7

It’s back! Le Burger Week, the Quebec-based week-long celebration of the best and most outrageous burgers, returns to Vancouver for seven days of deliciousness during the first week of September.

Le Burger Week Vancouver takes place from Sept. 1 to 7 at yet-to-be-revealed participating area restaurants, and this year look for the event to have an emphasis on cheese, one of the burger’s best friends.

Launched in 2012, the annual event has brought burger lovers together in numerous Canadian cities since 2017, when the fest expanded to include Montreal, Quebec City, Cornwall, Toronto, Ottawa, Winnipeg, Calgary, Edmonton, Regina, Saskatoon and, Vancouver.

Vancouver restaurants can sign up to have their burger creation included in Le Burger Week, and the fans can go eat them and vote for their favourites.

The 2018 Vancouver winners stacked up as follows:

  • Most Popular Burger: Korean Fried Chicken (KFC) Burger at Chop Steakhouse & Bar
  • Judges’ Choice: Bagel Burger aka “the BB” at Rosemary Rocksalt
  • Best Looking Burger: The Dragon Slayer at Bells and Whistles
  • Healthiest Burger: Chimchurri Burger at Fable Diner
