Man wanted on Canada-wide warrant after allegedly uttering threats in Burnaby

Police are asking for help finding a man suspected of uttering threats while in possession of a weapon in Burnaby in early December. Jory Wade Patrick, 32, is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant, according to Burnaby RCMP.

Police are asking for help finding a man suspected of uttering threats while in possession of a weapon in Burnaby in early December.

Jory Wade Patrick, 32, is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant, according to Burnaby RCMP.

“Efforts have been made to locate Patrick in Burnaby and surrounding municipalities, but he is actively avoiding police, and, to date, he remains at large,” stated a press release Wednesday afternoon.

Police say Patrick is known to frequent Burnaby and the Whalley area of Surrey.

He is known to police and should be considered violent, according to Burnaby RCMP.

Members of the public are warned not to confront him.

Patrick is described as a First Nations, standing six feet and weighing about 155 pounds, with short black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact RCMP or local police.
