The Queen of New Westminster is experiencing mechanical problems this morning resulting in cancelled sailings, said B.C. Ferries.
The 6 a.m. sailing from Tsawwassen and the 8 a.m. sailing from Swartz Bay are cancelled.
The ship has a problem with its steering pump.
B.C. Ferries says reservations will be accommodated on the next available sailings.
The ferry corporation apologizes for any inconvenience.
“We are working to resolve the issue and we will keep you informed as soon as more information becomes available,” said B.C. Ferries in a service notice.
