New acts added to Squamish Constellation Festival

The full lineup for Squamish's newest festival revealed

Some big names have been added to the Squamish Constellation Festival lineup.

The inaugural, family-friendly festival will take to Hendrickson Field from July 26 to 28.

Added to the acts already revealed to be coming to town are Juno Award-winning rapper Shad, two-time platinum artist Jessie Reyez, and east coast indie-rock group Wintersleep.

Jessie Reyez. - Submitted

Toronto's Reyez headlines the festival on July 26. She has worked with the likes of the chart topping Eminem, Sam Smith, and Calvin Harris.

Rapper Shad (Shadrach Kabango) former host of CBC’s q, is also currently the host of Hip-Hop Evolution on Netflix.

Wintersleep, of Halifax, has six studio albums under their belt.

Previously announced acts include Bahamas, Serena Ryder,  Half Moon Run, A Tribe Called Red, Dear Rouge, Peach Pit, Jocelyn Alice, Foxwarren, Cosmo Sheldrake, Fast Romantics,  Scenic Route to Alaska, Fred Penner, The Jerry Cans, Art D'ecco, The Boom Booms, Sarah Macdougall, Luca Fogale, daysormay, Parker Bossley, Jessicka, The Sunset Kids, Hunting, Begonia, The Modelos, Sam Lynch, Taylor James, The Oot n' Oots, The Kwerks and Cat Madden.

The event is produced by Aquila Constellation Festival Productions Inc., a Squamish-based event production company.
