Last week, the Vancouver weather forecast was predicting snow and freezing rain across the Lower Mainland.
Now, the forecast calls for rain, but it isn’t expected to clear anytime soon. In fact, the forecast calls for rain over the next 10 days.
Beginning on Dec. 10, the forecast calls for a 40 per cent chance of showers in the morning. That prediction increases to 60 per cent in the evening as the temperature falls to four degrees.
Tuesday calls for 20 mm of rainfall over a 24-hour period with a high of seven degrees.
Wednesday is slightly drier with the forecast calling for a few showers accumulating in 15 to 20 mm of rainfall over a 24-hour period. Thursday will see steady rain, followed by light rain on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
On Tuesday, Dec. 18, the forecast calls for cloudy skies and a few showers, with a similar forecast for Wednesday.
