Vancouverites finally said goodbye to the wildfire smoke smothering their lives and blocking their mountain views yesterday, but one good thing has come out of the experience.
People took advantage of the apocalyptic skies and managed to capture some striking images across B.C.
We are officially without an air quality advisory from Metro Vancouver, for now, after a record 11 days straight of warnings. The advisory does, however, remain in effect for the eastern Fraser Valley.
“While these fires continue to burn, changing weather conditions have the potential to bring wildfire smoke into the region again,” a Metro Vancouver news release states.
Fingers crossed the haze doesn't return...
