The Vancouver Courier is teaming up with Business in Vancouver and Vancouver is Awesome to cohost a debate between candidates vying to be the city’s next mayor.
Eight candidates will answer questions from six journalists (two from each publication) including Courier reporters Mike Howell and Naoibh O’Connor.
Candidates include Hector Bremner, Golok Buday, David Chen, Fred Harding, Ken Sim, Kennedy Stewart, Shauna Sylvester and Wai Young.
The debate, which takes place Sept. 17, 7 p.m. at SFU Harbour Centre, Fletcher Theatre,
515 West Hastings St., is sold out. However, any unclaimed tickets will be released to the public at 6:45 p.m.
We will be live streaming the debate on the Courier’s Facebook page starting at 7 p.m.
