Missing Vancouver tourist has been found

Missing since Tuesday, 65-year-old Allan Graham was spotted on a ferry heading to Vancouver Island

Sixty-five-year-old Allan Graham, who has been missing since Tuesday, was found on a ferry at around 6 p.m. Friday.

After going missing for several days, a tourist visiting Vancouver has been found.

Vancouver police have been looking for Allan Graham since he went missing after getting separated from his family on the afternoon of Aug. 21. The 65-year-old, who has dementia, was spotted by a fellow BC Ferries passenger heading for Vancouver Island at around 6 p.m. Friday. 

“Steps are being taken to reunite him with his family,” VPD media relations officer Const. Jason Doucette said in a press release.

Graham initially got separated from his family near Dunlevy and Jackson avenues just after 2:30 p.m. Aug. 21. He was spotted the next day at around 8 p.m. walking in the area East Hastings Street and Slocan.
