Monday morning traffic and weather

There is heavy volume of traffic on most major routes for commuters this morning.

There is heavy volume of traffic on most major routes for commuters this morning.

The Massey Tunnel is slow in both directions, with northbound traffic backed up along Highway 99 in Delta right before Highway 17 and southbound traffic just past Mylora Golf Club.

Traffic is also crawling in Richmond approaching the Oak Street Bridge, with delays up to Westminster Highway.

Heavy traffic is seen leaving Richmond on Russ Baker Way from Gilbert Road to Grant McConachie Way

Knight Street Bridge is seeing slow movement going northbound with volume creeping in from Highway 91.

There is up to 40mm of rain today and continuing through the night with a high of 11C and low of 10C.

Sun and clouds can be expected Tuesday and Wednesday with a high of 13C.

Clouds will come back on Thursday followed by rain on Friday.

Saturday and Sunday will see sunshine return with a high of 11C.
