Victim found on weekend in Seymour Street condo
police

A Vancouver man, 39-year-old Sofien Kazdaghli has been identified as the city's fourth homicide victim of the year.

Police considered his death suspicious after his body was found inside a downtown condominium on the morning of March 4.

He lived at 438 Seymour Street. The man charged with his murder is also  believed to be a resident of the building, however, the men's relationship is not known and they did not appear to share a condo unit.

Diego Alphonso Huerta, a 21-year-old Vancouver resident, was charged with second degree murder in the death of Kazdaghli.

Police say Huerta was picked up March 5 as he was preparing to board a Greyhound bus out of town.

Anyone with additional information is asked to contact detectives at 604-717-2500 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
