Native Daughters of B.C. Post # 1 is inviting everyone to celebrate the season in Vancouver's oldest building, 1575 Alma St. at Point Grey Road. Christmas at the Old Mill Store takes place Saturday, Dec. 8, from 1 to 3: 30 p.m. Enjoy a traditional Christmas tea and sweet service, seasonal live music, old Christmas tales and shopping for gifts from a variety of local charities and craft makers. The event is a fundraiser in support of Old Hastings Mill Store Museum and participating charities. Tickets are $10.
