An open house about the proposed Oakridge Centre redevelopment runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Nov. 17 at Oakridge Auditorium, 650 West 41st St. The proposal is for a mixed-use development with buildings ranging in height up to 45 storeys. Henriquez Partners Architects is redesigning the mall. The firm applied to the city to amend the 28-acre property's zoning in mid-October, on behalf of Oakridge Centre owner Ivanoe Cambridge and Westbank Development. The City of Vancouver is planning "enhanced consultation" for the project. It's expected to take at least 14 months before the development goes to public hearing.
