HomeToGo has released its annual list of the most affordable amusement parks in North America and Vancouver’s Playland made the cut.
The list features 50 parks from across Canada and the United States and includes entry price, the cost of parking, food and drink, and accommodation near each park for the 2019 season.
What’s more, the top two most affordable parks on the list are Canadian. Calaway Park in Alberta came first, and Galaxyland in Alberta came second. Also, Canada’s Wonderland in Ontario came in seventh place, and Six Flags La Ronde in Quebec followed in eighth.
Vancouver’s PNE Playland came in 17th place.
The most expensive on the roundup were Universal Studios Hollywood in 50th, Magic Kingdom (Disney) in 49th, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios in 48th.

Playland opens for the 2019 season today, Saturday May 4.
Vancouver’s favourite amusement park adds that admission to Playland gives you unlimited access to over 35 rides and attractions, which includes three new rides. In addition, the Pacific Adventure Mini Golf is now included for free with the price of admission.
