Were you travelling on the Sea to Sky Highway on May 13 and see anything that might help police?
The RCMP are seeking witnesses to a crash between a car and motorcycle near the U-turn at Lions Bay that happened at approximately 3:30 p.m. on May 13.
Police are asking anyone who may have seen anything or who may have dashcam video involving either vehicle to contact them.
The Kia Rio was in the northbound U-turn lane and turned left across the highway in front of a southbound Triumph motorcycle, police say. Both the motorcycle rider and car's driver sustained significant injuries.
The road was dry and visibility was clear at the time.
The cause of the crash is under investigation by Sea to Sky Traffic Services and the Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service (ICARS).
