Saturday night crash in Surrey, B.C., leaves four injured, three seriously

Four young people were taken to hospital, three of them in serious condition, following a crash in Surrey, B.C., early Saturday.

RCMP say they were called to the scene of a single-vehicle collision at 12:35 a.m., where a black Jeep had sustained heavy damage.

They say two men and one woman were taken to hospital in serious condition, while another man was taken to hospital in non-serious condition.

Police say all four were in their late teens or early 20s. Police say two individuals who fled the scene of the accident on foot have since been identified.

They say no arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
