Scream Queens and Kings wanted for Playland choir

No professional screaming experience necessary
Scream Choir
The Playland Scream Choir is accepting audition tapes until this Sunday, June 18.

Do you scream in the shower? During scary movies? Driving in Vancouver?

Then this audition is for you. Professional composer Bob Smart is looking for screamers to help take classical songs to a whole other level. This once-in-a-lifetime Scream Choir is open to all ages and everything will be recorded, so chosen screamers will have a wicked film to share with friends, family and fans. To audition, just film yourself screaming along to a handy scream guide available at screamchoir.com and submit.

If you fancy yourself a Scream Queen or King, simply video-record yourself screaming along to the Scream Audition Guide and submit it to the PNE team. No professional screaming experience or singing ability necessary.

Selected screamers will be notified of their success June 22 and invited to rehearsals on June 27 and July 4. The Scream Choir will perform its blood-curdling repertoire July 8 at Playland and other surprise locations. Choir participants will also receive a season’s pass to Playland. What have you got to lose — besides your inhibitions and possibly your roommates?
